Bring Fine Art Back to the Lord
Vision: God has given me a vision of expansive spaces full of His presence, ushered in through soaking worship and curated artwork. A voice praising the Lord, reverberating through the space, like a Cathedral of old, in a converted building housing an ecosystem of artwork that radiates the Holy Spirit.
Mission: Bring Modern Art back to the Lord. Stolen by an empty spirit, Modern Art and its museums leave visitors feeling empty. Renaissance museums leave visitors feeling full of mystery and wonder at the beauties of the paintings and the bible stories in them. It’s time for visitors to leave Modern Art museums full of life, full of the Holy Spirit, and with the knowledge that God is with them.
How: Our second curated exhibition will take place in LifeCenter’s upstairs space in October 2025. The purpose of this exhibition is to bring together NYC- or NJ-based church leaders, serious artists, patrons, and anyone whose calling is in the arts, to catch this vision. Attendance is open to all.The initial exhibitions serves as a launchpad—each show inviting broader participation from more churches and artists. Over time, the goal is to see a citywide event in a grand space filled with artists, leaders, patrons, enjoyers, and worshipers from across New York City, the nation, and eventually, the world.
Who: For our initial exhibition, the artists will be from LifeCenter NYC, with 1 or 2 openings for other local churches. As the shows expand, so will the artists and their respective churches.
